Julie Chen Moonves will open the door to the Big Brother: Time Trip house when the Big Brother 28 cast is revealed live on YouTube at noon ET/9 a.m. PT. The move gives the season’s cast rollout a public launch that is also tied to a broader feed plan built around YouTube, Paramount+, and Pluto.
Big Brother: Broveal at noon
At noon ET/9 a.m. PT, CBS and Paramount are calling the reveal “the inaugural Big Brother: Broveal,” a label that turns the cast announcement into a live programming event instead of a simple post-and-photo drop. That is the first concrete checkpoint for viewers who want the season 28 lineup the moment it becomes public.
Julie Chen Moonves is the person handling the reveal, and the house itself is framed around Big Brother: Time Trip. That pairing matters because the cast announcement is being used to introduce the season’s look and tone at the same time, not after the fact.
YouTube joins the feed plan
The Big Brother season 28 24/7 feed goes live on Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, with full availability on Paramount+ and Pluto FAST. The Big Brother YouTube channel will also carry the feeds at launch, which widens access beyond the usual subscription path.
CBS says the YouTube version will be “available for limited periods following each episode,” so the platform is not replacing the full feed. It is a partial window layered on top of the 24/7 feeds, which means the live experience will be split between continuous access on one side and short post-episode access on the other.
July 9 and July 10
The rollout begins with the 90-minute Big Brother season 28 premiere on Thursday, July 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by Big Brother: Unlocked on Friday night, July 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. A 90-minute Big Brother episode airs on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and each Wednesday Big Brother episode will be 90 minutes.
Paramount calls the coming season “the most original hours of programming in 25 years,” and later this summer Big Brother will become the first primetime series to reach 1,000 original episodes. For viewers, the practical takeaway is simple: the cast lands first on YouTube at noon ET/9 a.m. PT, while the fuller live-feed access starts Friday night on Paramount+ and Pluto FAST, with YouTube only opening in slices after episodes.
