Meaco restocked the 12,000 BTU Cirro portable air conditioner on its website today, then sold out of that model again. The move gives buyers another chance to buy the range, but the window is already narrow.
Chris Michael and Cirro stock
Chris Michael, Meaco's founder, said in a video shared on Instagram that the company ordered 40% more stock than in 2025. He also said heatwaves in the UK in 2026 have seen stock fly off the shelves.
The Cirro range launched last month and includes six smart models across 12,000, 14,000 and 16,000 BTU sizes. Meaco says the range runs at 45dB, a figure that helps explain why demand has stayed strong among shoppers looking for a portable air conditioner that is quieter than many rivals.
Currys and AO stock
Meaco expects other Cirro models to be back in stock this week. It also expects fresh stock of certain models to reach Currys and AO from around 10 July, although Meaco said it cannot be sure exactly when that stock will appear on the retailer websites.
For buyers trying to secure one now, that means the Meaco website is not the only place to check, but the first replenishment is likely to be brief. Meaco said the 12,000 BTU cooling only model has already sold out again after today's restock.
Late September and 2027
Meaco said stock will not be replenished again until late September for the MeacoCool and Cirro Cooling and Heating models once they sell out, while the Cirro Cooling Only models will not be replenished again until 2027. That leaves anyone set on the cooling only version with a long wait if today's stock is missed.
