7-Eleven will hand out free small Slurpees at stores nationwide on July 11, giving customers a one-day giveaway tied to Slurpee Day. JaNa Craig is fronting the campaign, which 7-Eleven says is meant to take the pressure off date night and keep the tone playful.
The company said, “Sometimes, all it takes is two people, two straws and one Slurpee drink.” On July 10, customers can also get a free large Slurpee with a purchase of at least $20 through the 7-Eleven app, giving shoppers a second way to pick up the drink before the main giveaway.
7-Eleven and JaNa Craig
7-Eleven and JaNa Craig are using the campaign to push a lighter version of Slurpee Day, with the message centered on a shared drink instead of a formal date-night plan. That framing matches the promotion’s limited window: one offer arrives through the app on July 10, and the larger free small Slurpee giveaway follows on July 11.
Some 7-Eleven and Speedway stores will also host a Slurpee date experience on July 11. The experience includes a photo opportunity, keepsakes, and a bedazzled collectible straw inspired by the diamond anniversary of the Slurpee brand.
Speedway and Stripes
Participating Speedway and Stripes stores across the country are part of the celebration, but the extras are not the same everywhere. The nationwide free small Slurpee giveaway is the broadest piece of the promotion, while the date experience is limited to some 7-Eleven and Speedway stores.
That leaves customers with two practical paths: use the app on July 10 for the large Slurpee offer if they are planning a $20 purchase, or go in on July 11 for the free small Slurpee. Blue, green and pink crystals are also available to customers as part of the Slurpee Day promotion.
Mountain Dew Confetti Chill Slurpee
Slurpee is also collaborating with Mountain Dew for a limited-edition release on Slurpee Day. The new flavor is called the Mountain Dew Confetti Chill Slurpee, and 7-Eleven says it combines birthday cake and citrus with a taste meant to resemble a zesty lemon cake treat.
For customers, the clearest takeaway is simple: July 10 offers the app deal, July 11 brings the free small Slurpee, and some stores add the date experience on top. The open question is which specific 7-Eleven, Speedway, or Stripes locations are taking part in those extras.
