The Minnesota State Fair 2026 new foods list now includes 36 food and drink options and nine new vendors. The lineup gives fairgoers a first look at what will be available when the 2026 Minnesota State Fair opens on Aug. 27.
LuLu’s Public House and Cafe Caribe
Pickle Pie will be sold at LuLu’s Public House, while Surf ‘N’ Turf Burger will be sold at Cafe Caribe. Hmong Corndog will be sold at Union Hmong Kitchen, adding more named items to the fair’s 2026 food slate before opening day.
Dockside Poppers at Summer Lakes Boat House will open in a brand-new building and will have live entertainment every day. Those details place one of the new vendors in a different setup from the standard booth announcement and give visitors a specific reason to look for it once the fair begins.
Midtown Global Market and limited dates
Some of the new offerings will not run for the full fair. Jamaican Jerk Chicken Loaded Fries will be available from Aug. 27 to Sept. 1, while El Taco Torro from Midtown Global Market will be available from Sept. 2 through Sept. 7.
That split means the fair’s new menu is not a single all-run release. Visitors who want one of the limited-date items will need to plan around the short window tied to that dish instead of assuming every new item lasts through Sept. 7.
With the fair set to run from Aug. 27 through Sept. 7, the practical choice is simple: check which new item you want and when it is scheduled to appear, then go before the window closes.
