Love Island USA Season 8 Episode 32 arrives with the season down to its final stretch, and Episode 31 ended by sending viewers a vote for their top four couples. That vote will decide who stays in the villa, with only three episodes left before the finale on Sunday, July 12.
Tess Higgins on Zach and Kayda
Tess Higgins said the Zach and Kayda pairing no longer looks as secure as it did early in the season. "If you had asked me at the start of the season, I would have said that (Zach and Kayda) were probably making it to the end, but now I’m not so sure, especially since they were in the bottom earlier this week."
She also pointed to the reason the pair has started to wobble: "There seems to be some back and forth, or some hesitation with Kayda about what being exclusive means, or how that’s being perceived with the others in the villa." That hesitation matters because the show has moved from pairings to final ranking, and a couple that looks unsettled can lose ground fast when viewers are asked to narrow the field.
Kayda and Zach’s wording gap
Zach asked Kayda to be exclusive with him until they enter the real world, and Kayda later shed tears after the ask. Some of the girls in the villa considered exclusive and situationship to be synonymous, which left Kayda feeling the others were not supportive or happy for her and Zach.
Sally Darr Griffin took the opposite view on their standing. "But I personally think that they deserve to be in the final four." The disagreement inside the villa is the useful detail here: if a couple cannot even land on what exclusivity means, the viewer vote is no longer just about chemistry, but about whether the pair reads as settled enough to survive the cut.
KC and Titi shift the board
KC asked Titi to be his girlfriend, and KC and Titi joined Trinity and Bryce as the only two couples in committed relationships. Tess Higgins said, "For me, the biggest surprise was seeing KC ask Titi to be his girlfriend and orchestrate this elaborate plan to do so."
She also said KC and Titi have both done "a big 180" since the destruction that happened because of their entrance during Casa. By contrast, the uncertainty around Zach and Kayda gives the Episode 31 vote a sharper edge: the final four are not being picked from equal footing, but from couples with very different levels of stability.
Three episodes left
With only three episodes left, the vote at the end of Episode 31 is the practical next step for viewers who want to influence which couples stay in the villa. The immediate question is simple: which four couples will viewers vote to keep in the villa after Episode 31?
