Love Island USA season 8 vote time arrived at the end of Episode 31, when Iain Stirling told viewers they need to pick their top four couples to determine who stays in the villa. With only three episodes left, the show has moved from relationship test to elimination math.
That timing matters because the finale is scheduled for Sunday, July 12. The vote now sits between the remaining couples and the finish line, and it decides which pairs continue competing as the season tightens around the final stretch.
Zach and Kayda
Zach and Kayda sat in the middle of that pressure. Tess Higgins said, "If you had asked me at the start of the season, I would have said that (Zach and Kayda) were probably making it to the end, but now I’m not so sure, especially since they were in the bottom earlier this week."
She added, "There seems to be some back and forth, or some hesitation with Kayda about what being exclusive means, or how that’s being perceived with the others in the villa." Kayda later shed tears after Zach asked her to be exclusive with him, and some of the girls in the villa treated exclusive and situationship as the same thing.
KC and Titi
KC asked Titi to be his girlfriend, and KC and Titi joined Trinity and Bryce as the only two couples in committed relationships. Earlier in Season 8, KC and Titi entered during Casa, so their move into exclusivity gives them a cleaner lane than couples still sorting out the language around their status.
Tess Higgins said, "My favorite moment in the recent episodes was seeing the karaoke challenge." Sally Darr Griffin pointed to another beat entirely: "The best moment was Sincere waking up alone in the hideaway." Higgins also said KC and Titi have both done a big 180 since the destruction that happened because of their entrance during Casa.
Final Four Vote
Sally Darr Griffin said, "But I personally think that they deserve to be in the final four." That is the real business of this vote: the audience is not picking a favorite scene, but narrowing the field to four couples that survive the cutoff and enter the season's last stretch with a path to the finale.
For viewers, the practical part is simple. The vote at the end of Episode 31 is the last lever before the field gets squeezed again, and the result will tell which couples keep their place in the villa. That makes the top four call less like a popularity poll and more like the season's roster decision.
