Jesús Made and Luis Peña were set to represent the Brewers at the 2026 All-Star Futures Game, with both players named to the National League starting lineup for Saturday's showcase. The game was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. CT on NBC and Peacock as part of All-Star Weekend, ahead of Tuesday's Midsummer Classic.

For the Brewers, the selection highlighted the strength of their farm system at the top end. Made and Peña are the club's top two prospects, and both earned another national spotlight because of what they have done this season in the minors.

Made continues to rise

Made, the consensus top prospect in baseball and Pipeline's No. 18 prospect, was scheduled to bat third and start at shortstop for the National League in his second straight Futures Game appearance. He also played in last year's event, going 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in a 4-2 victory.

This season, the 19-year-old has split attention between his ceiling and his production. At Double-A Biloxi, he hit.276/.347/.442 with nine home runs in 308 at-bats, giving the Brewers another reminder that his development is moving quickly.

Peña earns the same stage

Peña's path to the Futures Game looked a little different. He missed significant time because of health issues, but he still posted strong numbers at High-A Wisconsin, slashing.304/.393/.392 in 102 at-bats. That was enough to keep him in the conversation as one of the organization’s most important young players.

Put together, the selections gave the Brewers a clear presence in one of baseball's best prospect showcases. The Futures Game does not decide a season, but it does offer a useful snapshot of where a farm system stands, and Milwaukee arrived with two players who are already drawing attention well beyond the organization.
