Flash flooding in Missouri on Friday left Faith Gregory dead after floodwaters entered her home and swept her away while she and her boyfriend tried to escape. More than 351 rescues were carried out by Friday night, and response groups were still searching for potential missing persons on Saturday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Gregory was recovered about a mile from her home around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Young said on FOX Weather, "It's definitely not the outcome we were hoping for, but its a tragic reminder of how strong Mother Nature can be, and how forceful it can be".
Iron and Reynolds counties
A Flash Flood Emergency was issued across Iron and Reynolds counties on Friday as rain totals reached as high as 12.25 inches. The Missouri Regent C Incident Command said more than 351 rescues had been performed as of 9:45 p.m. on Friday, giving the search effort a scale that went well beyond one home or one road.
Camp Taum Sauk children
Two hundred children from Camp Taum Sauk were relocated to St. Louis on Friday night. The rescue work stretched across residents in Iron and Reynolds as crews moved from active water rescues to searches for anyone still missing by Saturday evening.
