Prince Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet visited King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on Friday, the first Archie Lilibet King Charles meeting in more than four years. Buckingham Palace said the family was hosted earlier in the afternoon at the King’s private home in Gloucestershire.
The Palace described it as a private family occasion. Archie is seven and Lilibet is five.
Highgrove House in Gloucestershire
The visit gave King Charles a first in-person meeting with Archie and Lilibet in more than four years. Prince Harry and Meghan had not been in the UK together since 2022, and Prince Harry had traveled in the UK alone since then.
Prince Harry was in Birmingham earlier on Friday for an Invictus Games event, where he tried pickleball and wheelchair rugby. Earlier details of the trip said Meghan would appear at events in London and Birmingham, but that changed after a security dispute.
Prince of Wales in Windsor
The family were at Highgrove House while the Prince of Wales was playing in a charity polo match in Windsor. There are no plans for Prince Harry and the Prince of Wales to meet during the visit, leaving the reunion limited to the King, Queen Camilla, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet.
That split picture — a private family occasion on one side, no meeting between the brothers on the other — is the clearest read on the trip. Prince Harry’s week in the UK also came after his court defeat against Associated Newspapers and amid confusion over Meghan’s attendance.

Buckingham Palace said the family visit took place Friday afternoon and was made public Friday evening. The open question now is whether this private meeting leads to any further contact between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family during the trip.
