The Vegas Golden Knights will open their 10th season at home against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at T-Mobile Arena.
The announcement gives the Golden Knights a clear starting point for the 2026-27 season, which will be played with an expanded 84-game schedule. It also sets the tone for first-year head coach Ryan Craig as he begins his tenure behind the bench.
One marquee date already set
Another notable game on the Golden Knights' schedule will come on Feb. 20, when they face the Dallas Stars at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas as part of the 2027 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series.
That matchup stands out as the club's special event game on the calendar and gives the Golden Knights a national spotlight in the middle of the season. For fans, it is also one of the most identifiable dates on a schedule that is still being filled out.
The rest of the schedule is still to come
The other 82 games on the Golden Knights' schedule will be unveiled Thursday. Once that release arrives, the full picture will be in place for a team entering its 10th season and looking to build around a new coach, a home opener and a major outdoor showcase in Arlington.
