Victoria “Tori” Deal is part of The Challenge 42 as the series moves to Paramount+ for Season 42. The Challenge: Cutthroat will premiere on August 5, shifting the flagship competition to a streaming home after previously airing on MTV.
24 Competitors in Thailand
The season puts 24 competitors into a three-team format in Thailand, with a $500,000 cash prize on the line. Brad Fiorenza, Cedric Hodges, Chris “CT” Tamburello, Chris Underwood, Cory Wharton, Johnny Bananas, Josh Goldstein, Justin Hinsley, Keanu Soto, Leonardo “Leo” Dionicio, Nelson Thomas, Will Gagnon, Adrienne Naylor, Alexis Lete, Anna Leigh Wilson, Cara Maria Sorbello, Cassidy Clark, Deb Chubb, Isabella “Izzy” Fairthorne, Michele Fitzgerald, Nurys Mateo, Reilly Smedley, Sydney Segal and Victoria “Tori” Deal make up the cast.
Paramount+ Gets Season 42
The move gives Paramount+ another version of The Challenge after The Challenge: All Stars premiered there, while a version of The Challenge has also aired on CBS. That routing matters because it places the main series inside the same streaming lane where spinoff programming already exists, rather than leaving the franchise split only across MTV and other outlets.
Three Teams, One Finish Line
The format raises the stakes beyond an ordinary individual race: competitors can only take home a share of the cash prize by crossing the finish line together as a unit. Nominated captains have to protect power through loyalty, and solo players have to prove they can work inside a team or lose their shot at the winnings.
The August 5 premiere is the immediate marker to watch. For viewers, The Challenge 42 now arrives as a streaming-first season with a cast built for alliances, a team-based finish rule, and a prize structure that rewards cooperation as much as control.
