McDonald's new Caesar menu items arrive July 21 as four limited-time additions, bringing Caesar back through a new lineup rather than the old salad format. For customers at participating restaurants, the change means a short-run chicken menu option built around the chain's Caesar Sauce.
4 Caesar Items, July 21
4 limited-time additions will launch on July 21, led by the Bacon Caesar McCrispy, the Caesar Snack Wrap and McCrispy Strips served with the chain's new Caesar Sauce. The sauce can also be ordered on its own for dipping, giving the menu a separate add-on beyond the sandwich build.
The Bacon Caesar McCrispy stacks a McCrispy filet with Caesar Sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, shredded lettuce, Roma tomato, crispy onions and crinkle-cut pickles on a toasted potato roll. The Caesar Snack Wrap pairs a McCrispy Strip with cheese, shredded lettuce and Caesar Sauce in a tortilla, while McDonald's also recommends the updated McCrispy Strips with the same sauce.
McCrispy Strips and Caesar Sauce
The McCrispy Strips now use a crispier panko breading, a recipe change that gives the sauce a second role beyond the new sandwich builds. For customers, that means the same limited-time launch is being pushed across a full chicken lineup rather than a single hero item.
McDonald's discontinued its traditional salads, including its Chicken Caesar salad, in 2020, so the company is reviving Caesar flavors in a different format. Burger King is currently testing six flame-grilled chicken menu items at select restaurants, adding a wider chicken-menu push around the same time.
Participating Restaurants Only
The new items will be available at participating restaurants for a limited time, so the practical move for customers is simple: check local availability before ordering, then use the launch date as the first window to try the Bacon Caesar McCrispy, Caesar Snack Wrap, McCrispy Strips or the Caesar Sauce on its own. The unanswered part is how long the promotion stays on menus after July 21.
