Cheshire Police has issued a public appeal to trace Peter Poole, who is wanted on recall to prison. The 45-year-old has links to Runcorn, Widnes, Wrexham and the wider North Wales area, and the force says anyone who sees him should call 999 immediately.
Poole was jailed for 21 months in June last year after exposing himself to a woman in Runcorn and attacking two officers who responded. Police describe him as 6'3" tall, of a medium build, balding and with blue eyes.

The force has asked the public not to approach him. Anyone with information about his whereabouts can call 101 and quote reference 26000344996, or use /tell-us. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Peter Poole recall to prison
The appeal adds a current search to a case that began with the sentence last June. A recall to prison means a person has been returned to custody after release, so Poole is being sought now because Cheshire Police says he is wanted on that basis.
His links span Runcorn and Widnes on one side and Wrexham and the wider North Wales area on the other, which is why the force has widened its appeal beyond one town. For members of the public, the instruction is simple: do not go up to him, and if he is seen, ring 999 at once.
The unanswered point is why he was recalled. Until that is set out, the practical issue for anyone who may see him is unchanged: report sightings immediately and leave the contact to police.
