IREN Raises AI Cloud ARR Above $4 Billion on $2.8 Billion Contracts — Irene Stock

IREN raised Irene stock attention on July 20, 2026, after lifting its year-end AI Cloud ARR target from $3.7 billion to more than $4 billion. The change followed $2.8 billion in new multi-year cloud services contracts with leading AI developers.

IREN said about 85% of the new target is already under contract. That leaves the remaining portion tied to the pace of deployment, customer acceptance and the company’s ability to keep adding capacity in step with demand.

Daniel Roberts and 480MW

Daniel Roberts, IREN’s Co-Founder and Co-CEO, said the company’s vertically integrated AI Cloud platform is scaling at pace. He said IREN expanded from approximately 3MW of self-built AI Cloud capacity to 480MW being delivered this year, with 1.2GW targeted for 2027.

Roberts also said IREN is broadening its customer base across hyperscalers, enterprises and AI developers. The company said that base now includes Microsoft, NVIDIA, Perplexity, Figure AI, Together AI, Fluidstack, Fireworks AI, Fal AI, Hume AI and a new leading AI developer.

IREN contracts and prepayments

IREN said the new multi-year contracts span bare metal and managed cloud services, with contracted pricing continuing to strengthen. It said the agreements carry a weighted average term of approximately 4 years across the portfolio.

The company said recent contracts include customer prepayments equal to approximately 45% of the associated GPU capital expenditure. IREN said those prepayments reduce its net funding requirement for the deployments, while as of June 30, 2026 it held approximately $7.6 billion in cash and cash equivalents.

IREN capacity in 2026

IREN said demand continues to exceed available and planned capacity even as it remains selective in allocating capacity ahead of commissioning. Roberts said the company is supporting leading companies building frontier applications across design, physical AI and robotics, generative media, AI search and model development.

The immediate takeaway for customers is straightforward: IREN is filling capacity faster than it is bringing it online, and the new contract load gives the company more room to keep expanding. The unanswered piece is which specific new leading AI developer accounted for part of the $2.8 billion in new contract value.
