OnePay launches OnePay Upgrade Personal Loan up to $50,000

OnePay launched OnePay Personal Loans powered by Upgrade on July 20, 2026, letting customers apply for a Onepay Upgrade Personal Loan from $1,000 to $50,000 inside the OnePay app. The company says the process runs from application to repayment in one place, with rates shown in minutes.

Omer Ismail, OnePay's chief executive officer, said, “Getting access to credit in America today is harder than it should be.” He added, “It's never been more important to give consumers access to financing that's simple, transparent, and meets them where they already are — and we're excited to partner with Upgrade to introduce another financing option for our customers with OnePay Personal Loans.”

OnePay app loan process

OnePay says customers can apply, receive and accept an offer, and pay back the loan through the OnePay app. The company said the application is designed to minimize friction and reduce repetitive data entry by using information customers have already shared with OnePay. It also said customers can check rates in minutes, see offers, accept terms, and manage repayment in one place.

The loans are powered by Upgrade, and OnePay said the partnership lets it offer larger-dollar lending directly within its app while using Upgrade's lending infrastructure and expertise. Renaud Laplanche said, “Our personal loans offer consumers the breathing room they need to get on the best financial path.” He added, “We're proud that this partnership makes that resource more accessible to millions of OnePay customers.”

APR and funding terms

OnePay said loan approval and loan amounts depend on eligibility. APRs range from 7.74% to 35.99%, also based on eligibility, so the cheapest and most expensive offers sit far apart. That spread means the advertised range is not a flat price; it is a pricing band that will vary by borrower profile.

Customers who bank through OnePay may receive funds as soon as the same day. OnePay said the loans are meant for consolidating debt, covering major purchases, or managing unexpected costs. For borrowers, the immediate question is not whether the product exists — it does — but which offer they receive once eligibility is evaluated inside the app.

OnePay and Upgrade

OnePay said the launch comes as more Americans seek flexible and transparent ways to access credit amid rising costs and tighter lending conditions. The company said it provides banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investment and crypto offerings, while banking services through OnePay are provided by Coastal Community Bank or Lead Bank, Members FDIC.

OnePay has not laid out a broader rollout schedule or specific underwriting rules. For customers, the practical next step is simple: check the app, compare the rate offer, and decide whether the borrowing terms fit the amount they need.
