Bradley Walsh joked at The Crown Inn in Broad Hinton after pub manager Erin Williams told him she did not know who he was. Williams apologised after posing for a photo, and Walsh replied, “That's okay, I don't know who you are either”.

Williams said, “I'm South African so I didn't have a clue who he was”, and added that she was raised in South Africa. She took over control of the pub last year, and the visit came while Walsh was taking a break from filming.
The exchange gave staff a quick story rather than a formal appearance. Williams said her colleagues and Kate, the pub social media coordinator, recognised Walsh straight away, which left her as the only one who needed the introduction.
Bradley Walsh and The Chase
Walsh, who is 66 years old, is already presenting The Chase Around the World, a six-part spin-off that opened in Rome with six teams racing through the city. The next episode takes place in Barcelona, where teams will encounter challenges set by Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ennis before the final team reaches the Chasers in a face-off.
He has also been reported as working on Out of This World, described as a blend of science, curiosity and comedy. Walsh said, “I would describe it as The Chase... but around the world!”, adding, “It's out and about.” He also said, “It was very different doing it on location, in these incredible places, instead of being in a studio,” and, “I've been locked in Elstree Studios for 17 years!”
For anyone following Walsh’s current schedule, the pub stop fits a period when he is away from the studio and on location. The visit at The Crown Inn in Broad Hinton is the immediate reminder that even a short break from filming can turn into the day’s most shareable moment.
