PlayStation down reports eased after roughly eight hours, with the majority of PlayStation Network services back online. The PlayStation Store was still having problems, so not every PSN user got the same recovery at the same time.

Account management, gaming and social, PlayStation Video, and PlayStation Direct were back up and running. That means most players trying to sign in or use connected services could get back in, while the outage had already blocked online gaming for more than six hours earlier in the day.
The PlayStation Network service page showed all services as experiencing issues at one point in the outage. That broader failure mattered because it reached beyond a single feature and hit the login path first, which is usually the gate for everything else on the network.
PlayStation Store still affected
The PlayStation Store remained the holdout after the wider recovery. Players who only needed store access still faced a partial outage even as other parts of the network returned, which left the experience uneven instead of fully restored.
For players trying to jump into the Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls open beta, the timing was especially awkward because the beta was set to begin today. The Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls X account said it was aware that some PlayStation players were experiencing login and network issues, and said the team was actively investigating the problem and working to identify the cause.

That leaves one practical question hanging for affected players: when the PlayStation Store will fully clear. The current update shows PSN has moved from a full outage to a partial restoration, but anyone still unable to reach the store will need the next network status change before the service is truly back to normal.
