Creepy Brothers says Xbox hard delisting games has already pushed Creepy Tale 1 and 2 out of the Xbox Store and, in reports, out of players' libraries after purchase. That makes this more than a routine delisting: owners on Xbox appear to have lost access to games they had already bought.
The dispute centers on Creepy Brothers and No Gravity Games, with Creepy Brothers saying the first two games in the series will soon be delisted from the PS Store. In a tweet on X, the studio said No Gravity Games has "violated the terms of the agreement and has not paid royalty for several years."
Creepy Tale 1 and 2
Creepy Tale 1 and 2 were released in 2023 as PS4 adventure games, and they now sit at the center of a removal process that has already hit Xbox. According to reports, only players who still had the games installed on their consoles were able to keep playing them, which is the narrowest possible form of access once a purchase starts disappearing from a library.
The reported library removal is the part that separates this from a normal storefront delisting. A game being taken off sale is common enough; a game being removed after purchase changes the ownership experience for anyone who expected a permanent download in their account history.
Xbox Store and PS Store
The games are still available on the PS Store at the time of writing, even though they have already disappeared from the Xbox Store. That split leaves Xbox owners in the most exposed position right now, while PS4 players can still find the games on sale for the moment.
At the same time, the dispute is not being described as isolated to one storefront. Creepy Brothers said the process was initiated across all platforms, and that broad framing suggests the removal effort is being handled as a rights and payment issue rather than a single-store cleanup.
For players who already bought Creepy Tale 1 or Creepy Tale 2 on Xbox, the practical issue is access, not discovery: the games were not merely delisted, they were reportedly pulled from libraries too. Unless the library access returns, the Xbox version of this dispute leaves purchased copies in limbo while the PS Store listing remains live.
