AEW's inaugural Redemption pay-per-view is set for Sunday, July 28 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, and the show comes with six title matches on the card. With All In ahead, the event is being positioned as the last major stop on the road to one of AEW's biggest nights of the year.
Redemption begins at 7 p.m. ET, with the Zero Hour Pre-Show starting at 6 p.m. ET. The event will be available on HBO Max, Prime Video, DAZN, Fubo and PPV.com, giving viewers several ways to follow the card from Montreal.
What is on the Redemption card?
The headline attraction is Will Ospreay against The Young Bucks, a match that carries added weight because Ospreay already has a guaranteed title shot at All In after winning the Owen Hart Cup. That makes his current road especially important, both for his own championship path and for the relationships around him.
Ospreay's alliance with Jon Moxley and the Death Riders has already created tension with members of The Elite, and the situation escalated on the go-home episode of Dynamite. After Ospreay, Moxley and Omega defeated the Don Callis Family in a six-man tag match, all four combatants in the match and Kenny Omega got into a physical altercation.
The women's world title match between Thekla and Willow Nightingale also stands out, especially because it came together sooner than expected after Nightingale's shoulder injury changed the original plans for the Owen Hart Cup. Nightingale had been planned to win the tournament before the injury forced her out, and Mercedes Moné stepped in and won the Owen Hart Cup for a second consecutive year.
With six title matches, a loaded main event scene and championship implications across the card, Redemption gives AEW a clear bridge to All In. For Montreal fans, it is a rare chance to see a major AEW show with the company still in the middle of several active storylines rather than after they have been resolved.
