Grimsby Town have moved to strengthen both their short-term squad depth and their longer-term stability, signing Cian Doyle on a two-year contract, bringing back Harvey Cartwright on a season-long loan and confirming that captain Kieran Green has agreed a new three-year deal.
The three updates give the Mariners a useful mix of continuity and fresh options. Green remains a central figure in the group after making the decision to stay with the club, while Doyle arrives from Bray Wanderers and Cartwright returns after a previous loan spell at Grimsby Town in 2023-24.
Green stays at the heart of the project
