After early 2026 price decreases, YES Network saw a 33% boost in its streaming audience this year. That kind of lift suggests the audience is already responding to lower-friction access, which makes the move to a single streaming home a logical next step for the networks.
Timing after MLB season
The exact timing of the migration from the Gotham Sports app to DAZN is still being finalized, even though the move is already announced. The switch is set to happen after the current MLB season, then carry through the 2026–27 NBA season and 2026–27 NHL season for local-market streaming of the teams involved.
