O'Donnell said Cohen introduced them by saying, “look!” She described thinking he was pointing to a staff member, then heard Mercy say, “Rosie, it's Mercy!” and replied, “Oh my God, what are you doing here?”
O'Donnell also said, “But she's worked there for like a year or so. So I was very happy for her and proud of her.” That timeline matters because it places Mercy inside a show machine that runs on familiarity, live booking, and staff continuity rather than a one-off celebrity visit.
