Paul Gitter pushes Spider-Man rollout at Regal Cinemas with new products

Regal Cinemas is getting the Spider-Man: Brand New Day merchandising push at the center of Disney Consumer Products’ latest rollout, with new products, content tie-ins, and game updates built around the film. The campaign gives fans a shopping path now and a release-calendar trail that runs into August and September.

Paul Gitter on Spider-Man

Paul Gitter, the EVP of Global Brand Commercialization at Disney Consumer Products, said, "As a true cultural touchstone, Spider-Man’s connection with fans only grows stronger with each generation". He also said the company is proud to give fans "a tangible, daily way to live their fandom," whether through web-slinger gear, action figures, or collectibles.

Disney Store and DisneyStore.com

Disney Consumer Products said licensees including LEGO Group, Hasbro, Funko, Mattel, Iron Studios, Civil Regime, Old Navy, Crocs, Fossil, Bershka, and Displate have already released Spider-Man: Brand New Day products. Disney Store and DisneyStore.com are carrying Spider-Man-themed merchandise tied to the film, including the Spider-Man Talking Action Figure, the Spider-Man Light-Up Mask with Sound for Kids, and the Spider-Man Big Feet Plush.

The retail strategy is broad on purpose. By splitting the rollout across licensed goods, direct-to-consumer shelves, and film-linked collectibles, the company keeps the character visible across price tiers and shopping habits instead of relying on one premium drop.

Marvel Rivals and Marvel's Spider-Man 2

A new Spider-Man costume is coming soon to Marvel Rivals, and it is inspired by Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The game is available for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, but it includes in-game purchases, so the free entry point can still lead to spending once players want the new look.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5 and PC will also unlock a new suit inspired by Spider-Man Brand-New Day. That keeps the campaign inside the game ecosystem as well as the store shelf, with the same film branding appearing in both a live-service title and a separate console-and-PC release.

August 18th and September 22nd

On August 18th, fans can get Spider-Man: Brand New Day – The Art of the Movie, the latest volume in Marvel Studios’ acclaimed Art of the Movie series. On September 22nd, DK Publishing and Kelly Knox will release Marvel World of Spider-Man, a visual guide to the entire Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man saga with key characters, memorable moments, and new content from Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Generations: The Evolution of Spider-Man is available through mid-October exclusively on Disney+, covering twenty years of Spider-Man history across Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. The collection also looks at Spider-Man suits and stunts, Tom Holland’s journey into the mask, and an exclusive look at Peter Parker’s next chapter with Destin Daniel Cretton. The practical takeaway is simple: anyone following the film can now move from streaming to books to games to retail without leaving the Spider-Man lane, and the calendar keeps doing the promotional work for Disney Consumer Products long after the first product drop.
