Captain Marvel and Ragnarok and Ant
Captain Marvel and Captain America: The First Avenger sit earlier on the timeline, but Thor: Ragnarok and Ant-Man and the Wasp run around the same time and both feed into Avengers: Infinity War. The sequence can be followed chronologically, yet it does not change the story, which makes the guide more of a navigation tool than a rewrite.

Phase Four and Wakanda Forever

Deadpool & Wolverine takes place after Loki Season 2, and Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic Four: First Steps offer the first true lead-in to the next major phase of events in the MCU in their post-credits scenes.
For anyone deciding how to watch now, the cleanest path is still release order first, chronological order second. That keeps the early Marvel Studios run intact, then lets returning viewers use the timeline version as a second pass once the post-credits threads start to matter.
