Takura Mizobe backs Palworld Games expansion with Palworld Online

Palworld games is heading to iOS and Android in 2026 with Palworld Online, a new MMO that Pocketpair says will add a fresh story, quests, and expanded lore. The move pushes the franchise beyond the main game and into mobile play, where live-service design and audience reach become part of the business from day one.

Takura Mizobe, Pocketpair's CEO, is tied to the project, while Bucky, the community manager, showed a chart explaining how the partnerships work. Pocketpair said Garena will develop Palworld Online

and pitch it with a

, MMO-style co-op, PvE, Pal capturing, and base building.

Garena enters with a mobile track record that Pocketpair clearly wants to borrow. The developer from Singapore has worked on dozens and dozens of mobile games for almost 15 years, including IP tied to Path of Exile, League of Legends, Need for Speed, and EA Sports FC. For a franchise still in expansion mode, that choice signals Pocketpair is leaning on a partner built for scale, not a one-off experiment.

Palworld 1.0 and mobile

Palworld 1.0 already put up enormous numbers on Steam, and Pocketpair is now trying to convert that momentum into a different format. The company had also released a Palworld card game, and the article says there is already a Palworld mobile game made by Krafton, so Palworld Online arrives into a franchise that is spreading fast rather than sitting still.

Many fans of the main game may not like a mobile MMO version, even though Pocketpair and Garena are counting on an audience for it. That split is the real story here: the brand is broadening, but the audience will have to decide whether Palworld works as a mobile MMO or only as the game they already know. What monetization model will Palworld Online use on mobile?
