Cole McBee turned a Las Vegas marriage into a surprise reveal on The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 3, Episode 8, then admitted the secrecy held even after the ceremony itself. He and Kacie Adkison said they kept the wedding quiet from many friends, even as the episode aired on Aug. 3.
“We wanted to make sure it was a surprise,” Cole said in an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider. He added, “You wouldn't believe how hard it is to keep a surprise off social media. A lot of our friends don't even know that we got married. They just think we're engaged. I'm sure some of our best friends will text us like, 'You guys got married?' It'll be great seeing that.”

The televised ceremony was officiated by an Elvis impersonator, with some friends and family present. But the guest list was not complete: Cole said Kacie Adkison's family was not part of the Las Vegas nuptials, and his parents, Kristi McBee and Steve McBee Sr., were not there either. That split between what aired and what stayed private is what made the reveal work as television, but it also left the couple managing two versions of the same day.
Kacie said, “He slips up all the time” when Cole referred to her as his wife. Cole said he had not worn his wedding ring before the episode aired on Aug. 3, which kept the marriage from becoming a public fact before viewers saw it. He also said, “The last two years, we have had so much change in our life, but for the better.”

Kacie kept the next step blunt: “We can start planning our actual wedding.” That larger ceremony still sits ahead of them, and the couple said they intend to host it behind their new home on the family farm in Gallatin, Mo., after Steve McBee Sr.'s release from prison on Sept. 11, 2026. Cole said that sentence was part of why they decided to get married, adding, “It was just so much spur of the moment, like, 'Hey, my dad's going to prison for the next two years, maybe let's just get married,'” and, “We knew we were probably gonna have another kid in the next year or so, so we should probably get married.”
That timing pushes the real story beyond a one-night TV moment. The Vegas ceremony locked in the legal marriage; the future farm wedding will serve as the public one, after the family has the room to do it on their own terms.
