National Highways and Ashton Court Estate
National Highways and official event organisers say there are various road closures and diversions around Ashton Court Estate during the event. The bridge closure adds another restriction on top of that network, so anyone heading toward the site will need to build in extra time rather than rely on the usual crossing.
National Highways has said the M5 at junction 19, near Portishead, could be particularly busy. Southbound traffic will use junction 19 to access the A369 and the event site, while northbound traffic will use the A370 to travel to the festival. Traffic will also use the M32 through Bristol.
