Why Hall is on Manchester United's radar
Hall's name had already been linked with Manchester United in March, when Sky Sports News reported that he was among the players being considered for a summer move. At the time, the idea was enough to raise eyebrows, but the situation has shifted since then.
Danyal Khan said Manchester United now view Hall as an achievable target this summer, pointing to a few factors behind that thinking. Newcastle ended last season without Champions League football, and the club are also in the market to add another full-back themselves. Even so, Newcastle's stance is clear. Hall has three years left on his contract, and the club do not want to lose him now. The message to Manchester United was simple: Lewis Hall is not for sale this summer.

For Manchester United, the rejection means the search for left-back depth continues. A club in their position needs more than one realistic option, especially with Luke Shaw carrying the burden as the only senior specialist left in the squad.
