Becky Jamieson set up the GoFundMe page and wrote that Abbie was “someone who was loved by everyone who knew her.” The fundraiser said Becky and Gary lost their beautiful 16-year-old daughter, while Carley and Bradley were also badly injured in the accident.
Within just a few hours, the page had raised over £4,000. Jamieson also wrote that Abbie “had her whole life ahead of her” and should have been “looking forward to receiving her GCSE results.”

Tanwood School for Performing Arts also paid tribute to Abbie. A spokesperson said she joined Tanwood “as a dinky dot” and was part of “an exceptional group of dancers” who formed strong friendships.
The same statement said she “always performed with a huge smile,” and added: “We are all in complete shock at this heartbreaking news and send so much love and support to her family and friends at this unimaginable time.”
Abbie later went on to join Swindon Lightning Cheerleading club and competed all over the world with the club. The fundraiser text described her as “forever 16, forever loved and never forgotten,” while the public tributes have kept attention on the family’s immediate support needs after the accident.
