Jock added, “I still draw all my artwork traditionally, so the opportunity to marry cutting-edge hardware with the energy and looseness of hand-drawn ink is incredibly exciting.” PlayStation said it worked alongside him on the limited edition design, and the company’s representative pointed to the energy and dynamics in his illustrative work as the reason it fits Wolverine’s violent, kinetic profile.
PS5 Pro and Adamantium
PlayStation also revealed PS5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition. Those covers draw on the adamantium bonded to Logan’s skeleton and claws, and they come with a premium metallic finish and claw-slashed details. A matching DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition will be sold separately.
The lineup now spans a bundle, a standalone controller, and console covers for both PS5 consoles with disc drives and consoles without disc drives. PlayStation said the PS5 and PS5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition will be available for the PS5 model group slim and PS5 Pro consoles already owned by players, which turns the reveal into an accessory play as much as a console one.
