Humberside Fire & Rescue was tackling a large Fire Hull blaze off Reservoir Road in Hull on the evening of the report. Plumes of smoke could be seen for miles, and crews asked people to stay clear while they worked at the scene.
Reservoir Road and Clough Road
The fire service said it had multiple appliances in attendance dealing with the incident and told residents to keep doors and windows closed. Humberside Police said Reservoir Road in Hull was closed while emergency services were in attendance at an ongoing incident, and asked people to avoid Reservoir Road and the area of Clough Road where possible.

Humberside Fire & Rescue said: "We currently have a large fire on Reservoir Road, Hull. We have multiple appliances in attendance dealing with this incident. Please stay clear of the area so that Fire crews can carry out their work." It also said: "Residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed."

Humberside Police said: "Please be aware that Reservoir Road in Hull is currently closed whilst emergency services are in attendance at an ongoing incident. Please avoid this area and the area of Clough Road where possible. Thank you for your patience." The fire was being treated as a live emergency, but the source did not say what started it.
