PlayStation has given Marvel Wolverine PS5 buyers a first look at the PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle, and Jock is the name attached to the design’s edge. The Scottish graphic artist says he wanted Wolverine at his fiercest, which is exactly the brief this hardware line now carries into consoles and accessories.
The bundle includes a PS5 Digital Edition, a matching DualSense wireless controller, and a game code for Marvel’s Wolverine. PlayStation says the yellow finish channels Logan’s intensity, while the console design uses exposed claw marks and the controller carries furious slashes inspired by Wolverine’s claws.
Jock’s traditional linework
Jock said, “I wanted to show Wolverine at his fiercest for Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console bundle and accessories.” He added, “I still draw all my artwork traditionally, so the opportunity to marry cutting-edge hardware with the energy and looseness of hand-drawn ink is incredibly exciting.” That puts an old-school drawing process behind a very modern retail push.
“I’m stunned by how well the console and accessories captured the raw energy of the drawing, bringing Wolverine to life in a completely unique way,” Jock said. PlayStation went further, saying his works have the energy and dynamics needed to capture Wolverine’s kinetic and violent nature and that his illustrations are grounded and raw.
Battle Yellow and Adamantium
The PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle will be available globally, and the DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition will also be sold separately worldwide. For players who already own a PS5 model group slim or PS5 Pro console, PlayStation will offer PS5 and PS5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition where is available.
That global pitch comes with a narrower retail lane for part of the line: the PS5 and PS5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition will also arrive in limited quantities through select retailers outside those regions. The covers are made for both PS5 consoles with disc drives and consoles without disc drives, so the accessory plan reaches more than one hardware configuration without changing the core design.
PlayStation and Marvel Games
PlayStation is also revealing PS5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition, inspired by the adamantium bonded to Logan’s skeleton and claws and finished in premium metallic styling. A matching DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition will also be sold separately, extending the hardware line beyond the main bundle and giving buyers two distinct design directions.
The reveal follows new details Insomniac Games and Marvel Games shared for Marvel’s Wolverine at San Diego Comic-Con last month. For readers, the practical takeaway is simple: the hardware line is broader than one bundle, but the on-sale date has not been given, so the next decision point is when PlayStation opens purchases for the bundle, the controllers, and the covers.
