7 Brew launched its first mobile app and changed its rewards system. The 7 Brew app folds ordering, customization, and loyalty into one channel. Customers can now build drinks before they arrive at the stand.
Chief Marketing Officer Nick Chaves said it was possible to order up to 20,000 drink combinations through the app. He also said it “unlocks our secret menu for the first time.” The company is using the download push to move more traffic into the app instead of only at the stand.
7 Brew app order flow
App orders will be prepared fresh upon arrival at the stand. That keeps the brand’s drive-thru model intact while adding a digital ordering path. For customers, the practical change is less waiting to assemble a drink at the speaker and more time to finalize choices before arriving.
The app also turns 7 Brew’s menu into a more flexible order builder. That matters because the chain is no longer small enough to rely only on a simple, in-person routine. It had 24 stores at the start of 2023 and 604 at the start of 2026, and it says it now has upwards of 800 stores.
7 Brew Rewards and points
7 Brew’s rewards system still grants 100 points per visit, and 1,000 points buys a free drink of any size. The app launch adds a promotion that lets members win 100,000 rewards points. That is roughly enough for a free drink every week for two years, and larger point balances can go toward branded merchandise such as letterman jackets and a 7 Brew themed mini-fridge.
The rewards redesign is doing more than changing redemption math. It is also trying to make the app the place where repeat visits are tracked and incentivized, which is a sharper digital loop than a stand-only transaction.
7 Brew and drive-thru growth
The launch lands while 7 Brew is still mostly a drive-thru operation. Its franchise disclosure document says only two stores lacked that channel, so the app is being layered onto a model that still depends on fast service at the stand. That is the contradiction in the strategy: the company wants more digital engagement without giving up the speed-first format that built the chain.
7 Brew projects 447 openings this year, and it had signed development agreements for 3,100 future stores as of the end of 2025. The app gives the chain a way to collect orders and loyalty behavior as it scales, but the release does not say when customers can use it everywhere or how many stores will support it at launch.
