SharkNinja launched the Ninja water filter, called Ninja HydraSense, on August 13, 2026. The countertop system removes up to 99% of more than 80 contaminants and starts at $199.99, with no plumbing or installation required.
That mix matters for households that want filtered water without turning the kitchen into a project. SharkNinja also says the system dispenses water up to 6 times faster than the leading pitcher, which shifts the experience from slow refill cycles to on-demand use.
Ninja HydraSense and Precision Pressure Technology
Ninja HydraSense uses Precision Pressure Technology, a pressure-control system that helps push water through the filter more aggressively than a basic gravity pitcher. The release says the system removes PFAS, lead, pesticides, carcinogens, microplastics, and pharmaceuticals.
The company also says the system is certified to NSF 42, NSF 53, and NSF 401 standards. Those standards are the main yardstick here because they signal testing against taste and odor, health-related contaminants, and emerging compounds rather than a single narrow contaminant class.

The system launched at SharkNinja.com on the same day as the announcement. SharkNinja set the price at $199.99 and priced replacement filters at $39.99.
Each filter has a 120-gallon life and can replace up to 900 plastic bottles. The practical tradeoff is simple: buyers are paying upfront for a unit that avoids installation, while the recurring cost sits in the replacement filters rather than bottled water trips.
The one detail that still needs real-world scrutiny is how HydraSense performs outside the company’s own testing and certification claims. The launch gives the numbers, the speed claim, and the price, but independent use is what will show whether the 6-times-faster pitch holds up in everyday kitchens.
