The High Court has blocked glyn razzell’s release on licence after finding he is still withholding the location of Linda Razzell’s body. Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb quashed the Parole Board’s April decision on Friday and kept him in custody.
Catherine Razzell said the family is still in court 24 years later and wants to finally lay their mother to rest. She said there is no peace for them until her father tells them where the body is.

Linda Razzell was murdered by her estranged husband in Wiltshire in 2002, and he was jailed for life in 2003 with a minimum of almost 16 years. The release decision had already been made in April, so the ruling reversed a step toward release that had been set in motion.
Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb found that Razzell was fundamentally dishonest and continues to withhold information that he could deliver up. She also described his refusal to disclose the location of Mrs Razzell’s body as causing "profound anguish".
Parole Board decision
The Parole Board had said there were serious doubts about his honesty, but it also said the risk was not imminent and that he would comply with licence conditions because he was strongly motivated not to return to custody. The High Court ruling rejected that balance and left the release decision without effect.
That leaves the family still pressing for the same missing information that has defined the case for more than 20 years. Catherine Razzell said her father was "continuing to do our family harm" and was "actively choosing to be controlling and abusive from within prison".

She said, "None of us want my father to die in prison; what we want is for him to acknowledge what he has done, show remorse and tell us where our mother’s body is so that we can finally lay her to rest." The central issue in the case remains the same: where Linda Razzell’s body is, and whether he will disclose it.
