An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We responded to a call at 13:20pm for a patient in Seven Acres, Wickford." The same spokesperson said: "We sent an ambulance, an ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance."
Wickford Memorial Park landing
The helicopter landed at Wickford Memorial Park because it was the closest open space. That left the park itself part of the emergency response, even though the callout related to an incident inside a house on Seven Acres.
