Victor Teran takes over for the upcoming season, giving Season 15 a behind-the-scenes reset at the same moment NBC locks in the franchise’s return. That keeps the show’s rollout clean for viewers, but it also changes the creative voice guiding Firehouse 51 into a new year.
Dom Pascal and Joe Cruz
Dom Pascal and Joe Cruz are both leaving before Season 15, with Dermot Mulroney and Joe Miñoso exiting with them. The departure of a Firehouse 51 boss and a firefighter in the same window makes this more than a routine cast shuffle; it trims two familiar parts of the ensemble before the premiere even starts.
Last year, Sam Carver and Jack Damon were written out, so the cast turnover has been building across consecutive seasons rather than landing all at once. That leaves Stella and Severide at the center, while Mouch and Herrmann, along with Violet, Lizzie, and Vasquez, remain on the board.
