Galyna Saltkovska says she is still in touch with Allie Eklund after Allie’s breakup with Steven McBee Jr. on The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 3 finale. The longtime McBee Farms CFO said she talked to Allie yesterday and made clear she is not picking a camp in the split.
“I do like Allie. And I stay in touch with her. I just talked to her yesterday,” Saltkovska said in an exclusive interview. She added, “I actually love the way she's been handling herself. I'm very happy about her career. And she's great.”
Aug. 10 and the Season 3 fallout
On Aug. 10, Saltkovska said, “I know Steven by far more than most and I really love him. Like he's a great, great person,” and added, “We've known each other for a long time, so I've seen him growing through his relationships.” That history makes her latest update more than a casual friendship note; she is speaking from someone who has watched the relationship play out across The McBee Dynasty Season 3 and the finale’s aftermath.
She also said she does not take sides. “I don't take sides,” Saltkovska said. “I see both of their sides.” For viewers, that puts her in the unusual position of being publicly close to Allie while still refusing to turn Steven into the villain of the story.
Las Vegas and the friendship line
During The McBee Dynasty Season 3 Episode 8, Saltkovska joined the girls for Kacie Adkison's bachelorette party in Las Vegas, which gave her and Allie time to build the kind of off-camera connection that survives a breakup storyline. Saltkovska said, “I don't ever get a chance to hang out with the girls. I'm hoping I will be able to keep up with them. I'm not quite the party animal I used to be.”
That is the practical read here: this is not a one-off cast alliance, but a friendship she still maintains after filming. She said Steven and Allie were “really great for each other,” then added that the breakup “wasn't for the best” and yet “allowed both of them personal growth.”
What Saltkovska sees now
Saltkovska went further on Steven, saying, “He needed a strong woman like Allie. And Allie is incredibly intelligent, very strong, very talented. And that's who he needs to have in his life.” She also said, “It allowed both of them personal growth. And, I see Steven growing from this experience in a very, very good way. And I feel like…it was the same for Allie.”
That is the sharpest takeaway from her update: the breakup may have ended one on-screen relationship, but it did not end her off-screen loyalty to Allie. The unanswered piece is what, if anything, Allie and Steven have said about where they stand now beyond the breakup itself.
