Lane Kiffin has described the arrangement as ideal for everyone involved. He said, “I think it's the perfect situation for everybody involved,” and added that Orgeron’s bond with LSU and the state makes him an easy sell in recruiting.
Kiffin pointed to Orgeron’s passion for the state, the players of the state and his championship success at LSU as reasons the fit makes sense. He also noted that, working for him, Orgeron would be in a strong position to tell recruits why LSU remains the place to be.

With Fall Camp underway and LSU still leaning on Orgeron’s presence, the question now is not whether he will be seen around the program. Since May, that has already been answered.
