Webull bull stocks rose 7% to $8.49 on Wednesday ahead of the company’s Q2 2026 earnings report after the close. The move came as Wall Street projected higher revenue, giving holders a price pop before August 19.
Webull and 7% pre-earnings move
Three analysts projected average revenue of $182.83 million for the quarter, up from $156.94 million a year earlier, with consensus EPS of $0.03. Webull posted EPS of $0.06 a year earlier, so the market is now pricing in a smaller profit cushion even after the stock’s jump.
In Q1 2026, Webull reported revenue of $159.9 million, customer assets of $24 billion, and equity notional volume of $261 billion. Anthony Denier said in May that ending the Pattern Day Trader rule could lift transaction activity by at least 20% over time, and the rule change took effect on June 4.
Robinhood Markets, Coinbase, and Bitcoin
Robinhood Markets shares rose 7% to $98.45 as CEO Vlad Tenev pushed U.S. regulators to approve tokenized stocks, while Coinbase gained 11% to $163.32 as Bitcoin traded around $68,500, up 6% over the past 24 hours. Robinhood Markets stock was still down 19% year to date through Tuesday's close, and Coinbase remained down 35% year to date.
Tenev called tokenization "the best path to modernizing the American financial system and expanding the dream of ownership to all." He also said, "It would be a strange outcome if the rest of the world could build the future of ownership around American assets while Americans themselves were left behind."
Robinhood Chain and regulation
Robinhood Markets has made tokenized U.S. stocks available in more than 120 countries and has tokenized more than 190 U.S. stocks backed 1:1 by underlying shares, even though holders do not directly own the underlying shares. Robinhood Chain launched in July and became the fastest Ethereum Virtual Machine chain to reach 100 million transactions, while The Kobeissi Letter said on-chain tokenized equities trading volume reached $9 billion in 2026, up more than 207% quarter over quarter and more than 800% year to date.
For readers tracking the setup, the next hard check is August 19, when Webull reports Q2 2026 results after the close. The stock is trading as if the revenue number can clear $182.83 million, but the market will have to decide whether that 7% move was a preview or just positioning.
