Nena Barlow Leads Jeep Into 11th Rebelle Rally Run

Jeep returned to the 2026 Rebelle Rally for the 11th consecutive year, sending Team 129 into the eight-day event in a stock Jeep Gladiator Mojave. The lineup pairs Rebelle Rally champion Nena Barlow with newcomer Hurricane Hannah Felton, and it keeps Jeep in front of an all-women’s field across roughly 1,500 miles.

Team 129 and the stock Gladiator

Team 129 will run a stock Jeep Gladiator Mojave, even though the truck is positioned for a desert competition that spans Utah, Nevada and Cali from Oct. 7-17. The vehicle is the only Jeep brand model to earn the Desert Rated badge and is a two-time Rebelle Rally winner, so the brand is leaning on a platform already tested in the same event.

Barlow will contest her 10th Rebelle Rally while Felton enters her first. Barlow also operates Barlow Adventures in Arizona, which provides four-wheel-drive instruction and guided off-road experiences throughout the Southwest, giving Jeep a driver with both competition and instruction experience in the same seat.

Jeep's long Rebelle run

Jeep 4x4 vehicles have been part of the Rebelle Rally since its inception, and Jeep says the brand has recorded eight overall wins and five Bone Stock awards in the event. Charlene Bower and Kaleigh Hotchkiss of Team 125 won the inaugural Rebelle Rally in a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in 2016, a reminder that the brand’s presence at this event is not new; it is cumulative.

Branden Coté said, “The Rebelle Rally is an authentic proving ground for our vehicles and the people behind the wheel.” He also said, “For more than a decade, the Rally has provided the brand with the opportunity to showcase Jeep 4x4 vehicles' capability in real-world conditions while supporting an incredible community of women who share our passion for adventure and off-roading.”

What Team 129 changes

Team 129 gives Jeep a current test case: a veteran driver, a first-time teammate and a stock vehicle entering an eight-day run where nearly one-third of private teams use their own daily-driven Jeep vehicles. Coté also said, “Nena has been an exceptional ambassador for the Jeep brand, and we're thrilled to see her return to Rebelle Rally alongside 'Hurricane' Hannah Felton as she embarks on her first competition.”

Barlow said, “We are incredibly grateful for the Jeep brand's unwavering support of the Rebelle Rally.” She added, “After several successful years with my previous teammate, I'm excited for a new challenge alongside Hannah.” Felton now gets her first Rebelle Rally start in a truck that has already won twice, and the result will be measured against the rest of the field once the Oct. 7-17 competition plays out.
