Aldi has launched the Superfam Pass, giving one household £800 a month in free groceries for 12 months. The prize also includes £400 in Specialbuys, and entrants have until Monday 21st September at 11:59pm to apply by email.

Rachel Geary, Communications Director at Aldi UK, said the weekly shop can take a large share of a household budget. She added: “The weekly shop is a big part of the household budget, so imagine being able to take it off your list of expenses for an entire year.”
Geary said: “That’s what we want to give one household with our first-ever Superfam Pass – £800 to spend at Aldi every month for 12 months, plus a few Specialbuy surprises along the way.”
Households across the UK must email ALDISuperfam@ with the names and ages of family or household members, their location and why they deserve to be named Aldi’s Superfam. The winning household will be contacted by Monday 5th October 2026.

The competition turns a routine shop into a fixed annual prize worth £9,600 in free groceries. Aldi says the entry process is open to any household in the UK that can make its case in writing, which means the decision will be made from the submissions it receives rather than by a public vote.
The same company has also put free period products in all customer and colleague toilets, and customers and colleagues can take them without a code word or loyalty scheme. That sits alongside the new giveaway and shows Aldi is pairing a headline prize for one household with a wider store policy that applies to everyone who uses those toilets.

Aldi’s next step is simple: receive the entries, review them, and choose one winning household from the applications submitted before the deadline.
