Just Like Heaven 2026 returned to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Saturday, Aug. 22, and The Strokes closed the Orion Stage from 9:40-10:55 p.m. The one-day festival ran across two stages, so the schedule was the real product for anyone trying to move between sets without missing the headliners.

LCD Soundsystem played the Orion Stage from 7:40-8:55 p.m., and Chromeo followed with a 45-minute set beginning at 8:55 p.m. The lineup also included TV Girl, The Rapture, Feist, Dayglow, Twin Peaks, Matt and Kim, STRFKR and Whitney, giving the day a clear mix of indie rock, dance and nostalgia rather than a single-genre bill.

Brookside gates at noon

Festival gates opened at noon, which set the pace for a long day at Brookside at the Rose Bowl. Cosmic Kids Land also ran from noon to 6 p.m., and Bob Baker Marionette Theater took over that area while A Club Called Rhonda handled DJ sets on its checkered dance floor.

The event spread activity beyond the main sets. The Heavenly Objects Market returned with vintage and handmade clothing and goods from local vendors, which meant the crowd had reasons to arrive before the first major evening performances and stay on site between them.

Pasadena parking rules

Parking lots opened at 10 a.m., and parking could be purchased in advance through Just Like Heaven's pass types page. Day-of parking was available onsite at day-of-show pricing if spaces had not already sold out, while limited accessible parking depended on pass type.

Bicycle parking was located in the north portion of Lot I, and the festival barred overnight parking, RVs, tailgating and camping. For drivers, the practical takeaway is simple: arriving at noon without a parking plan left less room to improvise than the music schedule did.

Clear bags and family entry

Just Like Heaven kept a clear bag policy in place, allowing clear bags up to 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches and non-clear bags no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Festivalgoers could also bring empty plastic water bottles up to 64 ounces, non-aerosol sunscreen, blankets or towels up to 50 by 70 inches, handheld fans, empty personal-size plastic water misters, parasols, binoculars and portable phone chargers.

Children 10 and younger received free admission, but no more than two children could enter per supervising parent or guardian. That rule puts a hard limit on family entry even as the festival advertises a free option for younger children, so groups traveling with kids had to count heads before they reached the gate.

Nonprofessional digital cameras, disposable cameras, Polaroids and film cameras were permitted, along with GoPros without poles or extenders. Professional cameras, video cameras, selfie sticks, tripods, outside food and beverages, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, glass or metal bottles and containers, drones, large bags and wagons were not allowed, and the missing full set-times list leaves the official schedule as the one item attendees still had to piece together around the day’s fixed entry rules.
