The Walt Disney Company will raise the monthly price of its legacy Disney+, Hulu, and Select bundle to $27.99 on or after September 17, 2026. The change applies to + customers on the older plan that includes Disney+ without advertisements, Hulu with ads, and Select with ads.
The legacy bundle had cost $24.99 a month, so the increase is $3. Disney said the adjusted rate will hit subscribers who enrolled in a bundle including Select before August 20, 2026, in their next billing cycle on or after September 17, 2026.
Disney Bundle pricing
The affected plan is the legacy Disney+, Hulu, and Select bundle, which is no longer available for new sign-ups. Disney said the bundle is reserved for existing customers who keep continuous service without canceling or switching plans. That leaves longtime subscribers on the older pricing path while newer customers are steered to current offerings.
Disney also said only certain Select-inclusive bundles are affected by the increase. Other modern Duo and Trio plans remain at their listed rates for new customers, with the standard Disney+, Hulu, and Select Bundle listed at $21.99 and The Premium listed at $32.99.
August 20, 2026 cutoff
The August 20, 2026 cutoff separates subscribers who qualify for the legacy treatment from newer sign-ups. Anyone enrolled in a bundle including Select before that date and still on continuous service will move to the higher rate when the billing cycle reaches or passes September 17, 2026.
For a subscriber on the legacy plan, the practical change is simple: the next bill arriving on or after September 17, 2026 will reflect $27.99 instead of $24.99. Customers on the current Duo and Trio offers do not move onto the legacy price path, because Disney has already set those plans at the listed rates for new customers.
The Premium and Duo plans
The price increase lands even though the legacy bundle cannot be newly purchased. That means Disney is raising the cost of a plan that survives only for existing customers, while keeping the standard Disney+, Hulu, and Select Bundle at $21.99 and The Premium at $32.99 for new customers.
For affected subscribers, the question is not whether the legacy bundle still exists — it does — but whether they stay on it after the higher charge appears. The billing change arrives first; the decision to remain on the older bundle or move to a current offer follows from that notice.
