Two people were shot near a high school football game at Lonnie Miller Park in Jacksonville on Friday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. during the game between Young Kids in Motion Academy and Joshua Christian Academy. JSO said the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute between two groups.
Police said one group involved in the dispute was escorted out earlier in the night, then later returned before shots were fired. A 19-year-old girl and a 20-year-old were injured and taken to the hospital.

JSO said there is no additional danger to the community or to the two schools involved in the football game. Police are also searching for two suspects connected to the shooting.
