Police Scotland arrested Steven "Bonzo" Daniel and another man in north Glasgow on Wednesday morning after officers attended two addresses at around 6am on Wednesday, August 26. The 39-year-old was arrested in connection with an alleged conspiracy to murder, while both men were detained over serious and organised crime, firearms and drugs offences.
Assistant Chief Constable David Ferry said: "The chief constable has made it clear that those intent on being involved in serious and organised crime will be brought to justice." He added: "This enforcement action underlines that commitment."

The arrests came after officers from the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit carried out the operation at two properties in the north of Glasgow. One man was 46 years old and the other was 39.
