Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Wokingham, Bracknell and Theale to a fire in the open near Rose Kiln Lane in Reading. The road was closed while firefighters worked just before 7pm on Monday, August 24.
A spokesman for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said reports of the fire were received at 6:47pm on Monday, 25 August. Crews used two hose reels to extinguish it and remained at the scene for approximately one hour and five minutes.
