David Pollack is heading into a new media chapter. The former Georgia star announced Tuesday on X that he is teaming up with On3 for the 2026 season, giving him a fresh platform after a long run in college football broadcasting.
Pollack’s path to becoming a familiar national voice started long before he joined. He was a dominant edge rusher at Georgia, where he won SEC Defensive Player of the Year twice, in 2002 and 2004, and finished with 36 sacks. That production made him a first-round pick in the 2005 NFL Draft.
His playing career was cut short after a neck injury ended it after 16 NFL games, but Pollack quickly moved into the media side of the sport. He joined in 2009 as a college football analyst and became part of College GameDay in 2011, where he spent years as one of the show’s most recognizable personalities.
Pollack’s media path
Pollack was let go by in 2023, but he has remained active in the college football space. His podcast, See Ball Get Ball with David Pollack, has been a major part of that work, and the On3 announcement suggests he will keep building his audience in the years ahead.
For On3, the addition of Pollack brings in a former SEC star and longtime national broadcaster with deep ties to college football. For Pollack, it extends his presence beyond and College GameDay and into the 2026 season with a new media partner.
