Darren Star said, “I wanted the final season to feel like the biggest Emily in Paris experience yet.” He also said, “We went to multiple locations this season, and Greece was somewhere we really wanted to showcase in a spectacular way.”

Filming for the season began in Greece in May, and production continued in France after that. That timeline shows the scale of the season’s rollout before Netflix moved to lock in the release date and publish the first photos.
