6-2 was the margin after Drew Campbell came through in BB Grand Cliptacular, the BB Blockbuster competition that asked nominees to match memorable moments from Big Brother history with the correct answers. He selected the right response and kept safety, which left Taylor Brown exposed against Aurichio on a night when Dee Valladares had spent much of the week signaling a different target.

Drew Campbell entered Episode 25 on the block with Mallory Aurichio and Taylor Brown, then won BB Blockbuster and altered the vote math before the eviction. Once he stepped off the block, the house no longer faced the same split it had been weighing during the week, and Aurichio became the one sent home instead.
Late live-feed discussions had centered on a possible vote flip against Campbell, which made the result less settled than the final tally suggests. His BB Blockbuster win cut off that path and forced the vote back toward the original nominee who had drawn most of the week’s attention.
Dee Valladares and the block
Dee Valladares had appeared to be Aurichio’s preferred target for much of the week, so the live eviction ended with the house moving in the opposite direction after Campbell saved himself. For a game built on numbers, that shift mattered more than the headline vote itself: once one nominee wins safety, the remaining block becomes the only real path the house can follow.
Mallory Aurichio, from Washington Township in Bergen County, exited after a night that had already started to narrow her margin. She was one of three New Jersey contestants on the cast alongside Yash Patel and LaTrice "Lala" Verrett, and her eviction closed a week that had forced the house to make its choice in public.
Big Brother changes course
Julie Chen Moonves said that "one houseguest's game will end before the next live eviction" and that "Big Brother live feeds will remain offline until after Sunday's episode." The blackout leaves the game out of view for three days while the season shifts into a new medieval-themed phase that drops the traditional Head of Household competition, Power of Veto competition and BB Blockbuster competition.
That is the sharper takeaway from Aug. 20: Campbell’s win protected him, Aurichio’s week ended in a 6-2 vote, and the next round starts without the three competitions that have shaped the season so far. The house is moving into a different format, and the first casualty of that change has already been named.
